... us some peaceful sleep. A sunny dawn but by midday the thunderstorms were threatening so we were lucky to get into port just in time to watch the scorns go by. The landscape is very beautiful and predominately made up of 3 colours: amazing, crystal clear glorious azure blue water, grey rugged granite hills and mountains and muted green shrubs. That's pretty much Sardinia. The architecture here is very different from anything else we have seen around Italy. It has a very Mexican/Spanish feel about it. ...

... has a gorgeous spanish hacienda feel to it, or maybe Mexican? It has a great pool area and we spent a bit of time there in the afternoon just soaking up the sun and the ambience and the wedding guests. Later, hungry, no hotel restaurant last night, we took our selves out to the Porto Rotondo. Some bloody big, spoiled blokes boats there, complete with staff. Found a nice little bar to have a few beers and then walked to a pretty good sea food ...
