After a relatively peaceful night we left this anchorage and headed for another not too far way. We are currently averaging around 5 miles – not much but at least we are heading in the right direction.

Thursday 20 August
We could easily stayanother day but the winds are supposed to change direction andincrease, so we moved to another anchorage.
Went ashore and completed some provisioning and enjoyed a reasonable lunch.
The water doesn't look that inviting so mainly chilled for the remainder of the day.

Left the anchorage mid morning and headed for Stintino some 2 miles away where we
anchored just outside the harbour. Went in to the village for some provisioning and lunch. The village is lovely and the lunch was mediocre to say the least.
In the evening we watched a pretty spectacular thunderstorm in the distance.

... killed us, but by the time we are organised it is close to 11am! We walk slowly down the road;it's so steep you have to lean back to walk down safely. We get to the Devils bridge and take photos on the bridge and looking down. We went from Bonifacio which is Corsico back to Sardinia and anchored into a protected bay....took about 2 hours to get there.
this is where the crew decided to give us some swim time and get out the tender to give us a ski and anyone who wanted to be towed by the sea biscuit.
We arrived at the bay about 11.30, and beautiful waters, reasonably calm, water temp good.
