... to find all over Central America. Anyways, we whipped through immigration and customs in Nicaragua and then needed to go through the Costa Rican side. One would think that the borders would be situated kinda close to each other, but in fact they are located 200 meters away from each other - and the best mode of transport between the two border spots was by foot. So yep, with our passports stamped we strapped on our backpacks and walked down the long lonesome road to the Costa ...

Unbelievably the electricity managed to stay on all last night and so we managed to get a half decent night's kip. That was, of course, until some prat started letting off what sounded like scud missiles next to our window. That was at 5 in the morning and that was the end of our sleep. This was followed by band practise! Great! A big brass band marching by the window at 5am. Who would allow that? After finally coming to ...

... her big girl IDC today! I however am in Villa Sol and ill for the 4th day. I did get some amusement out of villa sol though as Martijn came with me and we not only saw the biggest iguana every, seriously his tail was nearly the height of me, but he amused me by carrying both of the tanks to the pool and joking around saying he was doing sidemount diving (where you have more than 1 tank to dive). After VS I got back to be told I was eating dinner at Brenda's ...
