... back, branches scratching on the roof, missing the broken tree trunks, through the muddle puddles and then out onto the main road….. We stopped, looked back, and then burst into laughter and praised Big Jim for his efforts…. damn that was fun! Thank god we didn’t need to wash this car before giving it back…. ha ha ha ha

A while later we were in Montezuma and we checked into our small hostel, and wandered into town. We assumed that this would be a ...

On a negative note, I managed to stub/hyperextend/sprain one of my toes- before I even got in the water. My first dry run attempt at popping up I heard an actual "pop" in my toe. Two hours later it was black and blue. These are the things that happen when you attempt to learn new sports at the age of ...

Arrival to La Buena Vida, Guanacaste, Costa Rica

A travel blog entry by afearonwood on Mar 29, 2013

... will be the monkeys in the trees. Man is this place dry......I guess no rain, being in the dry season and the hotter than normal temps can make a dustbowl out of anything. Hopefully I will be able to see some lush rainforests somewhere soon. We need to do some research on what to do while we are here. Anyway, the glass of wine is settling and I feel more refreshed. I'll keep posting updates when I ...
