    One of the endearingly infuriating habits of my husband (hello dear!) is that we never stay in a hotel without moving rooms once. Or twice. The first room is too noisy ( despite having pre-requested the quietest room at the back) or perhaps it is too light or too near the lift. Room 306 in the Grand Marina Hotel seemed huge and delightful. The very, very faint smell of smoke would, I thought, disappear. At 2.30 a.m ...

    We thought we would combine all of the 5 days into 1 blog as the days are repetitive and we couldn't be *****... We are far to busy everyday making the important decision of whether to go to the pool or beach.. Dilemmas dilemmas! Every morning I would go to the bakery at the front of the site IT IS AMAZING!!!     ... marina was accommodating and the other not. They have some floating pontoons some with water and electricity and others with nothing. We enquired
    about the pontoon with water (as this is very important to us) and they wanted 75E a night – a bit steep but what can you do. We then found we can get water at the fueling pontoon which will will do.

    ... quick stop and change over and Lorna took over driving duties... Unfortunately after about an hour of Lorna driving, it was very stop start and we were drastically losing the race against the Sat Nav as Lorna made about 15 mins progress within an hour.. We changed over after Lorna did a couple of hours, I got a coffee from the services and we stretched out legs a big before what was supposed to be the last 2 hours of the journey, fortunately it was reasonably straight forward ...
