We took advantage of our mobility and drove up the coast to Cefalu today. We decided to just follow the signs and stick to the coast road. I can now honestly say that trying to navigate by sign and negotiate Sicilian small-town traffic is not an easy thing to do. It seemed that there were plenty of signs when it was obvious which way to go but inevitably as soon as we hit thicker traffic and found ourselves pushed down a ...

    ... movie and rested.

We hustled to get dressed for our 8 PM dinner at the Italian specialty restaurant. Holland America has two regular restaurant, the Manhattan Grill and Lido. Got up super early to drive from Rome to the port in Naples (a mafia controlled city) to catch our ferry to the wonderful island of Capri. A group of a few Australians, a handful of Americans and us managed to hire a small boat and captain it ourselves. It was cool. It's quite an impressive island and ...

... it imposes it..... Like a Molopo in Italy..... With no wifi and the peace and quiet, all we can do is faciamo relax.....

Monday was another shopping day as we promised the girls we could find H&M, they bought quite few reasonably priced things there last time we were in Italy. Highlight of the trip was finding and eating arancini! Balls made of risotto, filled with ragu / mozzarella, crumbed and deep ...

... we catch an open top taxi with our sounds blasting up the famous narrow road to Anacapri. As there is a little rain the top isn't let down. Miniature smart cars and trucks squeeze to the sides to allow enough room to pass.

A single chairlift leads up to the top of the mountain for panoramic views. It is peaceful sitting on the lift watching people work in the gardens, spy on their villas and out to the ocean. At the top is a ...
