Great campsite with the exception of the rude German's on it... Slight run in with the two couples opposite feeding the wild cats, setting Tia off as since day one dogs chase cats, causing the Germans to make gestures and shout in German at us to get Tia to be ...

We are in the village of Canneto on Lipari in the Aeolian Islands. It is a picture perfect little fishing town by the sea centered by the Catholic Church with a few bars and trattoria. It is 32 C and perfect beach weather. The only disturbance is the buzz of scooters driving past and the occasional church bell. We are off ...

Those Greeks appreciated the importance of location! Today the city uses the old theater for special events. We noticed that an ...

Got up super early to drive from Rome to the port in Naples (a mafia controlled city) to catch our ferry to the wonderful island of Capri. A group of a few Australians, a handful of Americans and us managed to hire a small boat and captain it ourselves. It was cool. Cruising around the whole island at our own pace, taking a much needed refreshing dip in the 'green grotto' and checking out the massive houses on top of the huge cliffs around the island. It's quite an impressive island and ...
