Today I met with my volunteer group to go and work on our surfing before we work with turtles. We met up with a high performance surf coach who owns his own performance camp and usually only is open to top 40 pros in the world, but he heard of the work we were doing and the company were doing the work with the turtles with made contact and he decided to open his doors to show us how the pros train. First we had a fitness test that consisted of a treadmill run that got ...
... taxi. We decided to give this part a miss. There is also a huge tax free shopping area like Hong Kong thanks to the canal-but even this couldn't persuade us! On our last day in Panama City-while on our hop on hop off bus, the heavens opened and rained heavily for about a half hour. Yes I skipped #4 cab ride, it was an uneventful ride back to the hotel. Up early(5:30am) on day 2 Check In ...
... and when I put the coffee on his owie and pushed he cringed really good. Poor guy. I know it must have stung like hell. He was a strong soldier though and bit his cheeks through the pain... When I removed the gauze with coffee on it, we all stared in amazement. The bleeding had totally stopped and there was a perfect little coffee outline where the cut was. AMAZING!!! I re-wrapped it and I bid them buenas noches and retaped their door.
