Tuesday- We started with breakfast and then walked to another area of the city recommended by a panama local book. It was so humid that we ducked into the first restaurant that looked good. We ordered churros and coffee! It was really good but turns out quite expensive we learned. Oh well. It started to rain so we caught a cab to the artisans market. ... one, where I was a leftover for the next jeep. We left around 5. I was non to pleased about being bundled into the no leg room back when I could've easily popped into the passenger seat. The road back was mainly paved except for a few instances so it wouldn't take much to sort it out and just do buses or minibuses. That however would cut into the $52 price they charge for the boat/jeep combo. Good business people these Kunas.
We had a long walk along the causeway in the morning. We walked down to the Frank Gehry Biodiversity Museum, which is now open - sort of. 40% open anyways. Construction began in 2004 . . . .and it costs $25 per person admission for adults. No thanks. We met a couple from Wisconsin who sold all their possessions and are now touring around. They have been to Paris, Ireland, spent 3 months in a condo in Ecuador ( in the middle of nowhere but it was on the ocean) and are now heading ...
