... paddle boat on river Mula with attendant Ashok. It was a calm and serene experience of cruising through still waters of Mula with semi wild vegetation on both the banks. We spotted nice birds like white crane, black crane, water hen, and kingfisher. After this boat ride, we roamed around for a while watching the swimming pool, elephant shower, nursery plants and settled in our hut for card play. The village dinner was served to us comprising farm rice, ...

... younger people do things together while children and older adults go rest. This is necessary as the evening ceremonies will go on until 2:00 a.m. I decided I was clearly the older generation. I have enjoyed the downtime this afternoon. As I was typing this last sentence, I had a phone call reminding me that it was time to dress for the Baraat so that we would not be late. I guess I should wake up Shekar and go check on Appa. ...
