    ... and somewhat ‘real’ Albania, as well as a pretty Ottoman hillside castle. With that we moved over the border into Greece, meaning we were also once again actually insured and road legal. We made it to Vikos Gorge in time to see the sunset. Vikos is the world’s deepest gorge and a pretty special sight in the evening (even with all the mosquitos).

    ... airport for our plane to Rhodes. It didn't help that the street signs still looked like alphabet soup and Marc's phone with trip-saving GPS was dead. Don't ever try to drive through Athens without GPS or a very accurate map, it is not pretty. As soon as we hit Athens it felt like something out of Amazing Race.     ... we can see the bay and it looks idyllic but everything is fenced off and locked. So sad to see. Back to Stoupa to Kalogria beach which has the other campsite. Perfectly fine and clean and 13 euros for one night. Rather posh and pricey lunch at Kalogria beach. The first beach with No Dogs sign. Not staying here for long! Beer and a gyros late that evening by Stoupa beach. Lovely ...
