... Brazil and Germany I went for a long walk on the beach. Half way I veered into the inside city streets as I wanted to walk through the streets of my youth and just check out how much things have changed – normally I don’t get to do these walks given that people mostly drive in this town. Houses have given way to high rise buildings and the spaces that still stand are now commercial ventures of all sorts. The feeling of the old neighborhood ...

So we arrived in Piracicaba and Edson was very excited ̀ found a cruise on Groupon, lets go!´ Half an hour later he looked up from his computer and said ̀ booked it´. So cruise number 2, Royal Caribbean, The Vision of the Seas, stops Santos - Rio de Janeiro - Montevideo (Uruguay) - Punte del Este (Uruguay) back to Santos 8 day cruise.
I have put some videos of the ship for you to see.
Brazil without the bubble of the cruise protection/comfort.
We only spent about 2 hours in Santos, we departed the ship, a little sad to leave it, maybe more to do with the fact that now we have to find our own way in a country where we don't speak any of the language!
We loaded our backpacks on and set off the ship to find the bus station to Sao Paulo, where we had a stay for three nights booked.
