We were heading for a camp for Christmas, and along the motorway we find a market, and then an aire. Driving in you could not miss the Kiwi Flag hoisted high by John and Kerry's camper. They are our first kiwi's on route since Mark and Sue in Normandy, France way back in August.

... St Emilion wine at Lidl to help renew our friendship.

Their journey is more intrepid than ours, as they are heading to places like Iran. They were very helpful in sharing travel information to make our travels easier.

We ended up having three nights together, not doing much else than talk and eat. I think that both groups were enjoying time out from the road ...

... of my day, so after that, all of us went to the beach for an hour. It was fun to relax a bit after everything. After that one of the people I met went to Burgerguesaria with me which is this AMAZING burger joint. I havent had good Spanish food while here yet but this burger place was amazing and super fresh. It was higher quality beef, homemade mayo, sauces of your choosing, and sauteed onions.

Then I walked home and hung out there for a while and went to bed. ...

... there are numerous large tents with chairs and tables and there is a palpable air of excitement. One tent is being kitted out with a stage for live music. It takes off properly tomorrow evening when I will have left. But tonight it was certainly warming up and it was great fun to watch.

There was a bar opening onto the square, advertising genuine "Flamenko music". The spelling is theirs. Made me wonder again about authenticity?
