I also listened to podcasts by "Notes in Spanish" by Ben and Marina which are also very helpful to learn the important phrases and especially the street talk which I have found you will probably need the most. in addition to this i took about 6 months of Spanish lessons 1 night a week for about 1.5 hours a lesson to try and ...

... are lined with bars and shops. The large streets are lit up all year round and very pretty at night. Our hotel was just off a main street on the edge of the old town, by the harbour. A great base to explore the town from.

We ate a lovely meal to celebrate David's birthday in the sun, in a restaraunt by the old port. Which has been made glamourous and chic, with new spaces opened up alongside its edge. A lovely undulating sun roof runs alongside the quayside, ...

... of my day, so after that, all of us went to the beach for an hour. It was fun to relax a bit after everything. After that one of the people I met went to Burgerguesaria with me which is this AMAZING burger joint. I havent had good Spanish food while here yet but this burger place was amazing and super fresh. It was higher quality beef, homemade mayo, sauces of your choosing, and sauteed onions.

... were having their siesta when I arrived. Still a lovely spot though.

Spent part of this evening sat in a bar in the town square eavesdropping. Now my Spanish friends have gone, not only do I have to drive, but I also I am forced to speak Spanish. While they were with me I would shove Eugenio in front of me whenever talking was required. Poor man - he worked hard for me.

But all alone I did manage to buy a t-shirt for my niece. I even asked to see other sizes ...
