... or small talk - Just sign here and this is your key..... My room is on the first floor and right at the end of the corridor after turning a few corners. It is quite nice - a bidet again.... And a fridge and hair dryer and a safe. The view is pretty much non existent - the window looks into a small vacant space between two buildings. After unloading and checking the room out I headed out to find the tourist office. Given I really only have the afternoon and then all ...

... 45 pm as we were being taken to dinner. Turned out we had a little time so we stopped at a little bar/cafe called Puerta del Atocha and sat outside and had a glass of wine/beer. So we continued back to the hotel and we are 10 minutes early but everyone is on the bus already! ...

We arrived in a gorgeous little anchorage just round the corner from Laredo, in the river that stretches down to Colindres. We had hoped we'd be able to borrow one of the nearby yacht club's mooring buoy's, but only five minutes after we'd put ourselves on it a curmudgeonly man in a dory with a dog appeared to demand money in fast Spanish. We did our best to get him to slow down and spell it out for us ignorant English-type folks and eventually he ...

... I really enjoyed looking at the paintings done by Dalí, one of them being his famous Millet's Architectonic Angelus and Face of the Great Masturbator. We also got a chance to see the most famous painting done by Picasso in this building which was the Guernica. Although we weren't allowed to take pictures, I got away with taking one anyway, although some of my friends got yelled at after me by some security guards. ...
