We arrived in a gorgeous little anchorage just round the corner from Laredo, in the river that stretches down to Colindres. We had hoped we'd be able to borrow one of the nearby yacht club's mooring buoy's, but only five minutes after we'd put ourselves on it a curmudgeonly man in a dory with a dog appeared to demand money in fast Spanish. We did our best to get him to slow down and spell it out for us ignorant English-type folks and eventually he ...

walked in to join us. We had told Cater we were doing the class thinking it

It's thumping on the street and in the squares and it's just beginning tonight. As we entered our abode I asked a guy where do you buy wine? I was told and so we, having stashed our haul on the third floor pad, made a second foray, acclimatising an picking up the necessary. The whole tapas thing was not obvious. Here are many places with heaps ...

    Hello All,

After easing back into the swing of things back here in Madrid I believe it is finally time to tell you all about the second half of my Eurotrip. Now I know I said the theme of last trip was spontaneity, but in the light of this one that is an utter lie (stay tuned I will explain). After finishing my final exam (I got an A in the class so the fact that I came home from my trip didn't seem to have a negative effect) I headed back to my ...
