    ... Calderone we could hear the crowds singing. The atmosphere was electric. Our seats this time were pretty much on halfway and about halfway up the stand. The game seemed somewhat classier and more skilful than our last look at a UEFA game. The crowd didn't stop singing for the entire 90 minutes and when Athletico scored early in the second half the crowd went nuts.     ... br> Then we had a choice of fish or steak. We all chose steak and it was absolutely delicious. It came with 1/2 baked potato. Oh, before that they served bread with tomato and none of us liked it.

It is such a huge and beautiful palace with exquisite tapestries, silk wall hangings, ceiling al frescos and furniture.     We arrived in a gorgeous little anchorage just round the corner from Laredo, in the river that stretches down to Colindres. We had hoped we'd be able to borrow one of the nearby yacht club's mooring buoy's, but only five minutes after we'd put ourselves on it a curmudgeonly man in a dory with a dog appeared to demand money in fast Spanish.
