... then made our way to the bus stop. There was little appetite for the return hike. We missed the bus by 2 minutes. So we checked the schedule that didn't seem to bear any resemblance to what was actually happening. It turns out that we had a full 58 minute wait. A 30 minute bus ride took us to the Tutzing bahnhof and we were Munich bound by 4:00.

... will be the plan next time around. I forgot to mention our lunch at Hofbrauhaus, I just had to have the pork knuckle, as did Mary, Deb and Barb. We weren't leaving Munich until we had that pork knuckle. It was delicious and nothing like the pork at home. ... going to the Augustiner beer garden to visit one of the biggest beer halls in Munich! (they claim they can seat 7000 people...!)

... About half of the group is heading home while the rest are heading to different destinations in Europe including Spain, Italy, France, and Ireland.
