... we just hiked to the summit and turned back. We made our way back down the mountain and returned to camp. For dinner, we headed over to the Peaks of Otter Lodge and ate at the restaurant. By the time we returned, a couple folks who had eaten at camp had built a nice roaring campfire. The sun had set by now and it was quite chilly, so the fire’s warmth felt good. ... but they weren't open until 10:00am; glad I didn't, as this is really a walking city.

  • Outdoor concerts & street performers everywhere.
  • Took in a movie at an old, restored movie theatre to end the night. Saw "Skeleton Twins" - loved this movie - well done, powerful, emotional.
  • 47 miles.
  • Will wake up in the morning (Sunday), hit my favorite cafe, and figure out where to next!!! ...
