... had less than a quarter of a tank, we were expecting a bill of $60 upwards. It only came to $30! We couldn't believe it, less than half the price of home. We stayed at the Doubletree in Roanoke (another freebie thanks to Hilton Honors) which is a national historic landmark as it used to be a railway hotel. It's lovely, although its been modernised there's still little original touches like the chandeliers in the lift. In the lift the carpet says "have a pleasant thursday." ...

... We waren op zn zachts gezegd overweldigd. Het is een echt een onwijs leuk en positief team, maar toen maakten ze wel erg veel kabaal! Na het welkom heten en de introducties (mijn achternaam en Mars’ voornaam zijn toch wel echt een ding voor die Amerikanen!
