I thought that perhaps the ATM transactions were delayed or something but it turned out that somehow someone in Mexico must have managed to clone my card and they had withdrawn 1000 pesos, which I think worked out to be about £45.

... that it would finally be done. But it's never that simple is it? When I got there it turns out that the inside of the nut is a couple of millimetres short. When the nut is tightened fully it doesn't hold the wheel on tight! To make it fit, they had to cut the end off each nut. All in all I paid $250, plus $50 (for the metalwork on the nuts) for wheel nuts that were completely wrong! Nightmare. Anyway, at least the wheel ...
... the UK. Steaks are terrible even in the restaurants! Also, you can't get the variety of veg we're used to in the UK. Next is Nutella, Marmite and good chocolate such as Cadbury/Galaxy/Lindor. You can get Nutella and chocolate from Chetumal, Mexico but it gets eaten very quickly and we don't go there very much as it costs so much to cross the border.
