... shops but we couldn't find the stoop for the bus. On looking at the bus guide more carefully, it became clear one had to get down to the waterfront area to buy tickets. This was some walk away and time was ticking by, so we gave up on that idea.

... us know that it was going to be another 4 hours before they cleared the road. He said we could stay in the parking lot for the night but it was loud with all the trucks being turned around and the flashing police lights were starting to get annoying so we decided to drive back and see if we could find another spot. ... After landing one small largemouth bass, we jogged to the Jeep to try another spot close by. Early in I hooked a nice peacock but it got me around a rock and got off. I even jumped in to get a better angle but no luck:( A little over the self-imposed one hour time limit, I managed to hook and land a micro Peacock Bass!

... 2 locks (Miroflores) then a short distance to another (Pedro Miguel) then into the manmade cuts and lake for the journey towards the Atlantic. The cuts and lake were amazing too. It is not a straight journey with lots of turns and other ships. The Gatun locks have 3 sections and then we are in the Atlantic.
