Paul supplies most of the tackle you need, all you have to buy is your terminal tackle to make up your own rigs. Some regulars bring bits and pieces with them, but there is no need as Paul has his own little tackle shop ...

... I can now understand why the guard wanted to strap down my wheelchair; not just in case Transport Canada inspectors boarded the train to check he was following the rules, but also the risk that it would otherwise be bouncing off the walls.

... Upper Canada Village'. Very interesting, with lots of history. The water pic is taken from the Village, looking across the water to the USA. The Chrysler Battle took place here at Chrysler's farm on the banks of the St Lawrence river in 1813. This was known as the Battle that saved Canada. We got to check out Cheese making, among many other things. Took home a beaut loaf of fresh bread, yum, still hot, and made from flour etc milled at the Village, also ...

We carried on our trip, not shutting the bus down while we ate, and pulled in through Magog, and then into Georgeville and then up the Gerogeville hill for around 3:00 pm.
