Joanne's sister dropped in for a visit for a little bit - enjoying lunch with us all.

It was a nice relaxing day. We mainly just chilled around the pool and chatted.

I did go for a couple of walks though - once with Frederick and another time with Joanne. Near the end of the visit, I took the kids to a nearby school and played with them on the playground equipment.

All in all, we had a wonderful day... Family is Great!!!

It was our first time seeing little William who is a little charmer and the newest little family member Theo - only 4 months old! The young girls 14 and 12 are such pretty young things. We shared a lunch with them all in Cornwall before heading across the US border into upper New York ...

... Ottawa!! Plus it was Canada Day- their country's Birthday!!! Oh well, when the time is right....we'll cross.
It is really cool up here, Lots of French, even the Hwy signs are in French & English! I took several years of French in high school & I finally get to use it!! The few tv channels we got were from Canada & we got to watch a few of the World Cup Soccer Games in ...

We noticed an amusement park off the road so decided to check that out. After looking at the rides, we then took the same route back to where Joanne was sitting - this time in the car.

Mom and I also took a walk along the paths which are parallel to the St. Lawrence River. The River is quite rapid. I would not recommend swimming in these waters.
