Historical Traveler Reviews Cornelia De Luxe Resort Belek
This hotel is absolutely fantastic! My partner and I stayed at the Cornelia in the 1st week of September to celebrate both of our birthdays. I read all the reviews of the Hotel before we booked so we had a good idea of what to expect but the holiday met, and hugely exceeded, all of our expectations. The service was attentive without being too intrusive, the entire complex was spotless and constantly being cleaned, the hotel itself was stunning, the food was fantastic (especially the a la carte restaurants) and the staff were wonderful. One of the best points for us were the pools, they were beautifully clean and always empty. To be honest neither of us could find a single fault with the holiday, 7 nights was far too short! We're already planning our next trip to Cornelia.
We have just returned from Hotel Cornelia, Belek. All I can do is agree with the other reviews - the food was exceptional the service from the staff was the best we have ever received. Your glasses were refilled as soon as they were empty - all the drinks were named brands (Gordons Gin etc.). The restaurants were all exception. The only thing I would say to beware of is the shop were you buy the newspapers - watch your change!!! We are already planning to return next year!! - Excellent holiday.
Just one word: Perfect.
We went to Cornelia for our honeymoon, while we were waiting for a standart room they upgraded our resevation to Junior Villa suites which have a outstanding view of the pool and a private quay.
We felt really upset when we left the hotel yesterday. We would stay there for years. The service was perfect (de luxe all inclusive) and the people were very friendly.
We loved this place. Hope to visit soon.
My wife and I have just come back from the Cornelia, having spent a week there from 2 to 9 September.
This hotel is of the highest class, and this comes from a very seasoned traveller. The room we had been allocated was very large, and had a lovely view out towards the sea, although the TV was mainly for German consumption with just one news channel and one film channel in English, the food in the main restaurant was excellent, with a wide variety of choice, which catered for all tastes. You can book the a la carte restaurants 24 hours in advance, and there were no restrictions on the amount of visits, unlike many all inclusives of this class I have been to in the past. The Chinese was particularly popular, and we liked the sea food restaurant as well, the only bug bear regarding the nights we went to these were the number of very small children being allowed to run around the restaurant floors without their parents concern
As stated elsewhere in the reviews of this hotel the drinks were all proprietory brands, and were unlimited with very fast attention from the bar staff, no hanging around trying to get a drink at this hotel! Despite the usual crowd of about 20 or so people who found it necessary to book the best spots/sun beds at 8am there were indeed plenty to go around. We have never returned to an hotel in the past, but this one breaks a rule, we definitely would return next year.
This has got to be the best hotel we have ever stayed in.
Everything about it is quality, and the standard off cleanliness is exceptional, inlcuding sweeping and rolling the beach by hand at night !!!
All the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was okay.
The animation team always had something on the go for you to do.
There was no mad rush to get sunbeds in the morning as there were always spare, and you could always go down the beach where there was also plenty.
The food was excellent quality the only thing that let it down slightly was the non smoking area in the main restaurant was tiny, they could do to make the dining areas totally non smoking, surely smokers could do without a cig for 1 hour.
I would say if you want to eat in the chinese restaurant be sure to be at guest relations by 0845 or you will probably not get in.
Excellent hotel, you must go!!
stayed here for 2 weeks early june, excellent hotel, very hot weather, safe resort for walking along thebeach, food we couldnt fault, excellent chinese restaurant which we visited 3 times in our holiday, very good turkish restaurant in the grounds, all of the branded drinks were in the all inclusive package which we didnt expect. rooms were very big, with a huge bed, lovely views looking out to sea, 24 hour room service for food which we used many times was excellent, after coming back from daphnes bar early hours of the morning!!! just watch out for the shop, very very expensive & short changed us a couple of times, do not use.. but other than that cant wait to go back...
My family and i stayed at this fantasic hotel for the first 2 weeks in August. I'm not going to waffle....i'll be simple but truthful.....Wonderful, fantastic, relaxing, entertaining, spotlessly clean, great for all ages, friendly staff, exactly what the brochure says. DEFINITELY 5 STAR........
What more could you ask for. We would all love to return to the Cornelia Hotel.
North West Family.
Paradise 5-star all-inclusive
The Cornelia hotel is a true luxurious all-inclusive resort. We stayed in one of the Junior Suite Villas which are fantastic with direct access from your balcony into one of the pools. There are many pools in the resort, beautiful bars & restaurants, excellent food with besides the main buffet restaurant, another 4 a la carte ones, which are all excellent. Staff are extremely friendly and always happy to help. For an extra bit of pampering, try the treatments at the Tuana Spa, from beauty to massage treatments, again all beauticians & masseurs are very friendly and polite, and the treatments are really worth it - still feeling chilled now ....... we would fully recommend the Cornelia resort for a relaxation holiday, and will certainly visit again. Feel free to email us if you have any questions.
We stayed at the Cornelia for 2 weeks in early June and the hotel was fantastic and the weather was very hot. We couldn't find any reviews on the hotel before we left so we did not know what to expect but we were not disappointed.
The hotel is huge so plenty of room for everyone. The food is out of this world, the main buffet restaurant had lots of choice and all the food was very fresh. There are a few other restaurants and I highly recommend the Chinese which overlooks the pool which looks lovely lit up on an evening.
The staff couldn't do enough for you, as soon as you had finished eating, your plate was cleared away and as soon as your glass was empty or nearly empty it was refilled.
Be careful of the shop inside the hotel, it has most things you can think of but was quite expensive.
The rooms are quite big and are kept very clean, they even provide Dove Shower Gel and Organics Shampoo - the real thing.
This hotel comes highly recommended and all four of us who went away agreed we would definitely go back again. Enjoy your stay.
My girlfriend and I stayed for a week at the Hotel Cornelia, and stuggled to find any info on the resort, as we believe it's a new resort.
When we arrived we were more than happy, as the hotel is HUGE, and has everything you could possibly think of and more. We were lucky enough to get a massive room, which was split on two levels, and had fantasic views of the sea/beach, and across the hotel gardens.
We would both reccomend this hotle to anyone, and would certainly return again in the future, it's only downfall is that there are not many english guests, mainly russians and germans, but this may be due to the hotel being new, and the lack of reviews may put people off. Also, the staff speak very limited english, if any at all, but overall are very helpfull.
The hotel is classed as 5*, and we would certainly back that up. It has one main buffet restaurant, and the food here is varied, but delicious. In addition to this, it has 4 restauarants, which you can eat in any night for no extra cost, there are fish, international, chinese and turkish restauarants.
It's an all inclusive hotel, and all the branded drinks are also free.
If there is anything else you'd like to know feel free to send us an email.
