Summary:
After Balaton lake days we have been on the move again, crossing 3 countries…now at the Krim, Ukraine. We spend some more days in Hungaria, quick visit to Budapest, wine sipping in Eger and eating a traditional goulash meal! Crossing into Romania, a country I fell in love with from the start. The land of the horse and carriages, fruit stalls at the side of the road, grannies chatting in front of their houses, hills, sunflowers, Dracula history and lots of ...

Babadag, Romania bogna... 322;a mnie machającą i ujrzała swoją córkę (przeważnie dziewczyna w podobnym wieku do mnie).
Tulcea, Tulcea, Romania bognaOk, I am still very impressed of what I have seen there. It's really great to see how people succeded to conserve all their traditions and just to simply admire the way they're spending they're lifes ... so simple, but at the the same they are entirely satisfied and they don't wish for anything else.
Tulcea, Romania dely_dinamoI'm back from the boondocks of Romania - make that the French boondocks of Romania. I traveled out along the Danube to Sf Gheorghe by ferry on Oct 26. Then out to a rustic camp. Full of French. There were a few Swiss thrown in. As I recently learned, the Swiss have 3 languages: French, German, and English. The Swiss among French will speak French rather than align with the english speaking (at least in this group). The French for the most part can also speak ...
Tulcea, Romania nkohare... arranging the boat understood what I said in English quite well. However, he admitted that he while he understood the words, he could not understand WHY I wanted to go out, and why I was traveling alone. The idea of anyone going way out there to camp, and look at birds was not in the Romanian mentality he said. He will provide the name and number of people that I can stay with in Sf Gheorghe just in case I decide not to camp. Seems like a good ...
Tulcea, Romania nkohareAfter 25 hours of travelling, I arrived in Tulcea, on the Danube River. (Sorry Barbara and Shirley- I didn't listen). No major problem with jet lag. I did get a marriage proposal from a taxi driver in Bucuresti that has a friend in Tulcea that wants to go to America. Perhaps I should buy a ring ...
Tulcea, Romania nkohareOn Aug 21st I left the good ole USA in search of an Eastern European Adventure! I flew to Bucharest, Romania and...upon arrival...I really had no definite plans...so...when the opportunity arose, I jumped on it! --In a newsstand in the airport I met a Romanian-now-living-in-the-U.S.--we chatted a bit...and...5 minutes later he returned to say I was coming with him and his Business associate (from Michigan)--they were in search of Land ...
