12F when we awoke can't imagine what 75F even feels like any more. Packed up the car and headed to the airport with our car and house sitter Miss Elizabeth in tow. Our flight was delayed slightly by de-icing however we were soon in the air and heading to warmer climates. Checked in at the hotel (bags all arrived!) ...
... for Tel Aviv on Sunday :) I found out yesterday I'll be living in an apartment with 10 other people. It's going to be insane and beautiful. My work is less than half a mile from my apartment, so I can walk or bike there in less then 10 minutes. I'm super relieved! But before that comes, I'm off to spend a couple days in the big city. Sending love and kisses to all of you. Know that I carry you with me where ever I go.

On the evening of the 26th we flew to Detroit for Thanksgiving with Tarun’s family. Our flight was supposed to be at 8:40 but was delayed which meant we did not get to our hotel until close to 1am. ... who haven't been scored on much lately. Of course that means it had no chance of living up to that billing. Two batters into the game the Rays had pushed their first run across the plate. The next batter homered to make it three runs in the inning. Not to be out done the Tigers scored a run of their own in the first. The problem was the Rays managed four more runs before the Tigers got one in the seventh. A Tiger home run in the bottom of the 9th seemed to punch ...
... to this convention. Those presents were mere tokens, it was a genuine 'thank you' that we were getting for travelling to see them and join with them.
We were well and truly rewarded, as were they. It's staggering to see the effort that had gone into making this convention such a huge success, an outstanding demonstration of brotherly love.
