    Boarded the plane at 10:28pm on Tuesday. Had chicken and mashed potatoes for dinner on the plane at 11pm. Read a little and slept a little. Said the flight wasn't much longer than the one to Florida (which means she slept quite a bit!). Didn't eat the breakfast.

    ... up around March. Once Smorgasburg (a huge food market), the ferry from Manhattan starts running and it warms up it gets very busy. Because it’s so quiet there were quite a few unoccupied areas. It was good because I was able to spread out over a larger area but bad because the second area of the market looked emptier which meant many people didn’t walk all the way down. Built in 1928, the 36 storey skyscraper has recently undergone award winning renovations and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1989. The Art Deco style from the 1920s would have to be my favourite and it is sad to think the buildings are sitting there just falling apart.
