... for Tel Aviv on Sunday :) I found out yesterday I'll be living in an apartment with 10 other people. It's going to be insane and beautiful. My work is less than half a mile from my apartment, so I can walk or bike there in less then 10 minutes. I'm super relieved! But before that comes, I'm off to spend a couple days in the big city. Sending love and kisses to all of you. Know that I carry you with me where ever I go.

Remember, we specifically requested otherwise. Our dread only increased as the time drew nearer. We had our own little pep rally a day before entering. I figured why not try a new career move while in a new country. Maybe I will become a vegan lesbian too, who knows. I think I'll call it for my first entry. I'll keep you posted <3

There are similar stories of abandoned buildings throughout the Downtown but they tend to be in sections/ areas rather than individual buildings. Artists have quite often entered these abandoned buildings and painted all the windows in an attempt to improve their appearance while they are awaiting their next use. Most of the city's architecture tends to be either from the pre-depression 1920s (Detroit was the 4th ...

All of out stuff is now repacked in six rolling bags with 7 carry on bags. Bags in tow we make our way to three underground stops, the airport, return Oyster cards, and turn in our tep modem, then onto the plane we go!

Thankfully all goes very smoothly and we settle in for an eight hour flight to Detroit. Smashed into coach, we settle into our headsets and movies. It is very nice to stop moving and watch some TV.
