We will post trip information here as soon as it starts. For 2010, we will continue planning the project and look for Sponsors that are willing to invest and support the Project. All indications in that regard is ...

Waar men in Europa een "first come first serve" methode ...
Detroit, Michigan, United States mariatillemaI am still at home. Only one more week. Being away from my home for three weeks requires a lot of preparation. I even know the movie that are going to have on the Flight. I am tired already!! Since I will be on a plane for almost 24 hours, I am collecting all the necessary stuff needed to be comfortable.
Ferndale, Michigan, United States kfworldtravel... folks... which always makes for an even more fun time! There were signs all over the place warning about the amount of blood and how it was very likely you would get sprayed. Much like the splash zones in SeaWorld. They sold ponchos at the door, or you could provide your own covering. Anne, of course, had already seen the show, and knew where to sit us so we wouldn't get sprayed. The lady in front of me was hilarious, she cut a hole in a regular Kroger plastic bag ...
Detroit, Michigan, United States tourdevSo its the 23rd and I'm going to Mikes Halloween party. I've been going to them for as long as he's been throwing them.
I wanted to dress up as The Dude, played by Jeff Bridges in the movie The Big Lebowski. And drink White Russians all night but alas this is not to be. I couldn't find the wig or goatee.
So I'm a Werewolf wearing a tie, then had to ...
Detroit, Michigan, United States salemkPhew... Going through US Customs was a bit trying... No searching but a lot of questions meant - I supposed - to catch us with something bad... Who knows. We did not loose any meal. We're in the middle of a fairground, with a weak WiFi but OK. The only analog TV channels are from Detroit but the Detroit area offers 22 digital channels, many

Longer day than expected but we grinded the flying condo to a halt. No problem other than a sticking lock on the propane door.
Belleville, Michigan, United States averynetIt's the first day of my summer vacation and I finally have time to actually think about going to Spain! I should be working on the 10 page paper I have to have done by the 1st day of class, but instead I'm busy checking out all the things I want to do and places I want to see in Spain :)

I've already signed myself up (along with some other ...
Detroit, Michigan, United States asullivanLast weekend Chris, Dan, and I all went to the Detroit Zoo. I can't say it was as warm as I would have liked, but it wasn't freezing ... which is probably as good as you can hope for in Michigan in March. Plus, it was the first weekend of the month, which means that we got in free with our Bank of America credit cards. Free is always good! Anyway, it was rainy most of the way there, so we had a backup plan (a local museum) in the event that we were ...
Detroit, Michigan, United States jamieshaffer... can almost hear the music and feel the history of the generations gone by - the houses would not have changed in 50+ years., of course the buildings are new and flashy (see GM headquarters photo). We travelled through the city on a Sunday, and so it was quiet in many ways, but the sights we saw were typical - a black man walking down the street singing to himself with his tie on and his bible under his arm, the young man coming out of church ...
Detroit, Michigan, United States foremanBack in the USA. Got through immigration and customs quick. Had lunch and a few cigarettes at the FOX Sports Bar in the airport. I walked around the shops and got some See's Chocolates for Bernie and picked up a copy of Golf Magazine. The gate was at the very end of the terminal and I decided to take the train to the gate. Got upgraded to first class on my final leg to La Guardia.
