... see if you like the professor or what you learning about and then choose if you want to take it or not. Since Anatomy is my main subject I need to take, but does not start until mid february, I had to work my schedule around which, so I only have a couple options to take after those times. But last night I had my first Irish class, Introduction to Irish Traditional Music. It was a very interesting class, the professor played us a tune on the flute and then talked ...
... you feel like such a tiny insignificant piece. All thoughts and problems seem so minuscule compared to the rest of the earth. Again, my pictures don't do it as much justice as what seeing it for your own eyes would, but it's better than nothing. I didn't take too many pictures here. Instead, I just took in as much as I could with my own eyes.
Going to such tourist-y places here, I've noticed how people are just trying to get that perfect shot ...
... since apparently every European on the planet was on holiday that weekend. We drove out a few miles out of Cork and must have tried about 20 places before we found one with availability, but we totally hit the jackpot with this place. It was dirt cheap, run by an incredibly nice elderly couple, and easily the greatest breakfast I've ever eaten in my life. Tons of bacon, eggs, soda bread, home-brewed ...

Clockwise from Killarney it follows the N71 to Kenmare, then the N70 around the Iveragh Peninsula to Killorglin – passing through Sneem, Waterville, Cahersiveen, and Glenbeigh – before returning to Killarney. Once we passed through Killorglin, we decided to turn off and head to a Locke near by. That decision led us to roads so narrow that only one car could fit, yet it was two way road. We did find the Locke but not where the signage said. We ...

Historical Traveler Reviews Cork International Airport Hotel
An amazing hotel
This is a fabulous hotel.Stayed for 1 night in transit.
The room was very comfortable .We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent. The service was very efficient and friendly.
From a design point of view this is a wonderful place. The fittings are very high quality and very stimulating.I would highly recommend this hotel.
Thank you for taking the time to add your review to the site. We are glad you enjoyed your short stay with us and we hope to welcome you back you soon,
Amazing place for an airport hotel. Had one night here with our two small children and it was worth every penny (c.£100). Don't know if we were upgraded or not but our room was collossal with a tv to match and beautifully appointed. We had to leave at 5am in the morning and so the excellent continental breakfast brough to our room as part of the wake-up call (no extra charge) was very welcome.
We stayed in a family room ("2 double beds) for i night on a park and fly basis. The hotel is very modern and even quite quirky in design. It had only opened the previous month so everything was not quiet up to speed.
Cork international airport hotel
We chose this hotel as it had a special rates offer due to the fact that it is new. It was said to have opened 2 months ago. The staff were receptive, attentive and helpful. The room was well serviced and exceptionally clean. The breakfast menu, on weekdays, had a wonderful spread of both continental and irish foods. At weekends, the choice is slightly limited. The big let-down is the absence of restaurant services on weekends in both luncheon and dinner. Food was available in the bar but they are what one would describe as "junk food" eg hamburgers, chips and sausages. We would not return to this hotel if restaurant catering continues to be "infrequent".
I had forgotten how things can be in a recently-opened hotel.
This place is very nice. VERY quirky design in public areas. Lots of great staff (who aren't suite up to speed yet).
I look forward to returning here in a few months when they have got their ducks in a row.
Knocks the local competition away. Good product & good service (more to follow im sure as they get organised). Free Broadband for computer users is a good plus.
Good luck guys!!!
