... port where we were given the option to get the cable car, a donkey or walk back into fira. Us being us we walked, we ended up walking with a Canadian lady and her English Husband so a good conversation together and before we knew it we were back at the top! We went and got amazing ice cream for lunch then went back for a shower. We spent the evening wandering around fira, watched the sunset before going to get chicken souvlaki's for dinner, which would have to be the ...

Laura and Jess went for frozen yoghurt and I walked home with Gee for another ...

A volcanic explosion 600 years BC, of 20 square miles might have been the main cause of the start of the disappearance of the Minoan civilization in this region. The explosion of the volcano created the caldera, and you can see of layers of volcanic ashes in the cliff. some of the ashes are black, but you see some red ashes as well. We met our ...

What a day, what a day!!!!

    Happy birthday, Margaret!!!!!!!!

Santorini is magic. The views, the breeze, the sun and the colour. It all started with an early rise to view the entrance into the caldera of Santorini, watching the towns on the top of the cliffs come into view, the cliffs, the blue water and the white and blue churches begin to spring into life.

    We then went to breakfast.
