... first up close views of the Parthenon, unsurprisingly it was covered in scaffolding. As was the area you would generally stand to get the photos that you normally see of it. None the less we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and you can get fairly similar photos on the opposite side which isn't covered in scaffolding. ... I decided to walk up to the center square, look at some shops, and ponder my options. As I emerged from the cobble stone path nearing the end of the square THERE IS AN INCREDIBLE VIEW FILLED WITH BARS AND PLACES TO EAT BREAKFAST, LUNCH, AND DINNER ! Probably the best day ever. We enjoyed a drink and some scrumptious zucchini balls then headed back to the ship for a celebratory dinner with our tour group for a lady whose birthday was the following day.
