Easy flight with Easyjet, arriving a bit early at 13.05. The owner of our B & B picked us up at the airport as taxis are impossible to find. The traffic was a nightmare for such a small island. Only 5 rooms in the B & B and not quite as billed on but very pleasant and with a lovely terrace overlooking the windmills and sea just across from our room. Beautiful sunset and a great meal at a fish taverna to start the holiday. Weather is hot and sunny for ...

We call out "kalimera" (good morning) to the people in their gardens and patios and then we are then greeted with a wonderful view of the ocean and boats. For the first ...

... New Zealand! It's day 1 and I'm already getting made fun of so much for my "accent!" Haha. Well, the tables will certainly turn soon enough! It is so different joining an already formed group, but I love how well-adjusted the group dynamic already is so that us newbies just blend right in. It's truly ideal! The next 30 days with this crew are going to be wonderful!

Going to explore more of the town tomorrow on quads! I'll make sure to take some beautiful ...

... in Mykonos around midday. The water in Mykonos was a whole new level of blue compared to what we saw coming into Athens. There were even the iconic white and blue houses lining the cliffs overlooking the coast. During the drive from the ferry dock to our accommodation, I was surprised at how different the landscape looked from the picture in my head. I'm not sure if I was expecting it to be green and luscious, but I definitely wasn't anticipating aridity. I ...
