... the fish must have been just fished locally! It was time to discover where our fellow travellers were from, which is always an interesting part of travel. We then visited the old theatre of Aspendos. It was certainly impressive for a structure that has been used continuously for 1800 years, and is still being used today. ... on Pete and I , swam in the sea, and all was well in the world.....had a late lunch then hiked up to the chimaira....which is actually the place where the Olympic torch idea came from.....a hike up into a valley, where for thousands of years, small fires have burned continuously on a rocky hillside...just like chimeras...in fact that's where the name comes from...was pretty cool (until we got lost walking on the way back, in the dark...good one Pete!!). It's ...
