... stayed in with no blinking lights. I took a nice nap and then we packed up our big suit cases. The bikes, vans and big suit cases will all travel tonight on a ferry over to Tennerife. We went to the pool for afternoon tea time. Merry Christmas sitting in the sun enjoying tea is amazing. Tonight was dinner on our own so we ordered room service early and had delicious fish and filet. It was early bedtime since we have to meet at 5:45 am and I want to feel ...

We packed our bags to head south today and enjoyed a full buffet of breakfast food. Leaving the hotel on bikes we started a crazy descent with many switchbacks. It is alot like descending from highlands to franklin. It was 3.5 miles so i had to stop several times to rest my hands from gripping the brakes. ... 30 mintues. We parked and started the thike up the top. The hike was about 45 mintues to 1 hour. There were lots of poeple doing it. The wind was extremely hard and cold, but we still made it up. The Roque Nublo is an Earthcache, and we found 2 other Geocaches, 1 under the Roque and one at the beginnning of the trail. The view was very nice, altghough it seemed that were inside a mssive cloud for mot of the time.

... and the views were even better, we then drove further up the narrow, windy roads, some were extremely narrow you just had to look away if you were afraid of heights..... Our next stop was for a group photo and a look at one of the local dams called Caidero de La Niña with many more photos to take of the spectacular scenery, Alan said how lucky we were as we had superb visibility, he said the previous week the group weren't as lucky as it was ...
