... but of those I can only recall a very startled looking Martin Clunes. Back in the foyer man in a hole in the wall directed us to the lounge where a girl with a strong East European accent proceeded to take or orders and make our coffees. Very slowly as if she hadn't done it often before. No-one else seems to be partaking though various people are moving around the between the rooms. We use the excuse of a loo break to explore individually. The first surprise is ...

Dear all, We are in Plymouth tonight and head off to Stone Henge (again) and then to London. Then once we arrive at our hotel we will get ready to go out to the West end theatre area of London to see play War Horse! We were to go on a cruise in the Plymouth harbour at 5 pm but the weather was against us as well as the tides so cruiser owner cancelled it. Rain on and off gain today. Saw the ...

So nice going from Exeter but it is certainly the poor relation to Bristol - so small. Got there nice and early, not too much of a check in queue, but the baggage belt sounded like it was ready to give up any second. SB at check in wishing me a happy holiday. Through security ...

Off we go to our B&B. We are only here one night on route to Portsmouth. In the morning we take a walk down by the sea. They have a nice little pedestrian area where you can stroll along as well. It is another nice day and the dogs are all out playing in the surf. Dogs are prohibited from the beach from May to September, but it is October now and it is play time for puppies.

Lyme Regis (pebble beach) - we woke up and were excited because it was our last few days in England. First we drove over to the pebble beach in our hire car. There we tried to find fossils but it was no use because it was the wrong time of day and the tide was too high. Nevertheless, we had lots of fun at the pebble beaches, because instead of sand their beaches were covered in rocks. We had a picnic there but it was weird because instead of sand the ground was ...
