It is the first day of JFC Ski 2015, the bus is all loaded, we've gone through the toilet rules (no solids!) and off we go. Miss Mullen is already panicking about the almost certain sickness on the ferry, eww! Mrs Taylor is missing her wine, Mr Maggs is regretting coming at all and Mr Swain is snoring like a walrus.

Tonight we will be making our ferry journey and seeing the beautiful scenery as we pass through France. We are due to arrive at our resort during mid ...

And before you start wondering if I was working during this week, yes I did AI at the Hughes' every morning but there was only 1-5 cows to do each day, which made for a very cruisey final ...

Rockingham Castle is the real life model for Chesney Wold in the book Bleak House. Dickens was a frequent guest at the castle, which he humourously describes in a letter to a friend, Forster, emphasizing the pomp and protocol accompanying the activities going on there:

    Rockingham Castle: Friday, thirtieth of
    November 1849.

    The story so far……..

If anyone told me two months ago that I would be preparing for the biggest, most daunting thing that I’ve ever done in my whole life (apart from walking through the Lincoln estate in the early hours of the morning after a night out) I ...
