We have received our new home. It is cosy. It has just enough storage space, a microwave, a fridge, a sink, a shower/toilet in one and a little table. Plus there is a bed above the driver's cabin. It suits our needs perfectly for this upcoming part of our trip. I’m just a bit disappointed about the poxy pictures on the front, but you can’t win 'em all.

3:30 pm - Finally reached Tennessee! We had another hour long, slow-moving delay near Corbin, Kentucky. I'd driven 80 miles and the breeze is really stiff. We decided to take a stretch break at the Tennessee Welcome Station.

Woke up this morning to 22 degrees and clear. Yesterday it snowed on and off all day although it never did stick to the ground. Now we have officially reached the coldest weather we will probably see on our trip. Love our down comforters.

... old college professor Dr Dan. He is an amazing cook as well as a very interesting man. Anyone who can single handily cook for 30 people by themself I admire. The weather was perfect to sit out the back and then everyone decided at the end of the day that this was our favourite day by far.
