... made for a fantastic night not to remember. :) The next morning we drove to the big pit mining museum and went 300ft underground into the mine. It was absolutely terrible in my opinion. ... These nice people run some of the temporary bars for the festival and have a long association with it. They produce several fine beers and a lager (called Llager) and I was pleased to be able to try some of their stuff again, having apparently missed the porter in Shrewsbury 10 days previously. It’s very good and they sell quite a lot, I think. It’s possible that some of it was being used to fuel the excitement in the main hall.
