... the rails we'd arranged last time. Olly and I got the lots of panels attached looks good. A striking battle ship grey block bisecting the Rick Yard from the potting area. ... Band Stand that had stood for over 120 years slid away as the waves took out the foundations. Elsewhere our beloved Aberaeron also took a hit and the sea was crashing over the harbour wall, managing to flood The Harbour Master Pub and also The Yacht Club on the south side of the harbour.

It was a late start on New Year's Day........but at least the weather was skies but a cold chill. We said our goodbyes to our hosts Gail & Clive and headed first into Aberaeron for a quick bracing walk, then began the drive back home. The weather changed rapidly and once again it began to pour down. Welcome to yet another shade of grey in The World's Number One Holiday Destination.

... Lampeter. It was great to see Aberaeron after our trip away and we then headed to see Clive, Gail & Owen who were putting us up for the night. Again it's good to see everyone and they all said that we had lost weight after the trip. Keeping the weight off may be the problem.

We all then headed back into Aberaeron and first stop was to say hello to Martin at The Cadwgan pub. Cousin Claire and her husband Steve were there and also Uncle Graham ...
