I did plug my shaver into the power strip, knowing that $20 Wal Mart product, in all likelihood, did not have the sophisticated converting hardware included in the Kindles, cell phones, computer and battery chargers. And, with accompanying sparks, ppfffffftttt . . . So I go to the English version of Walgreens and get me a 10 pound, AA battery- powered beard shaver. Problem solved.
