... is 51. They are really fun and are traveling with their adult daughter. The others are all couples from Quebec, England & Australia. It's a fun group and everyone is very nice. We do feel like old ladies in this group of 20-30 year olds! We can buy snacks in Demre, but we have to buy all of our drinks on the boat. The prices aren't too bad, but it would be nice if we could have brought our own. So ...

Then we made our way to the impressive Perge, just wishing we could see it in its full glory back in time as well. This city which actually dates back 4000 years, initially up the hill for protection, was then occupied by Romans in 200AD. The grandiose baths and city are still amazing 1800 years later. We then had lunch in a quiet restaurant by ...

... has a charming old town with narrow streets and interesting architecture, mainly from the Venetian occupation. The markets were amazing – I didn’t know how many cheeses there are besides Feta Cheese! Lots of different nuts and olives were available (Greece is the 3rd largest olive oil producers after Italy and Spain). Another specialty in the area is the leather goods and Cretan folk art items, which include ceramics, ...
