      ... a handy dandy mat!

      We had to set up in the rain and our planned bbq ended up being a pan fry. Of course that got the fire alarm going so that battery was removed! Oh well! We'll put it back before we head out again. :-)

      ... he likes the challenge of learning something new too. After we found the right battery and ordered it we drove through Jacksonville to get to the A1A. Jacksonville seems to be a very working class city and as it was Sunday, the streets were very very quiet.       ... Watching the news is a little scary when this is all going on around us. (Someone up there is looking after us) We changed to go out for dinner and went to the hotel bar for a drink first, for Cynthia to comment on how well we scrubbed up.       ... the beach. Until the late 50's they used to race right on the beach.

      There was an old biplane flying up and down the beach towing an advertisement, looks like an awesome way to make a living. There are squadrons of Pelicans flying sorties above the water and diving in amongst the people playing in the water, sometimes landing right next to them.

I'm well past 30 but still feel 29) with 24 more hours of racing with a wine and cheese party, a quick meal and at 10 tonight they will even have fireworks for me, followed by, more hot tubbing, all started with a seniors sunrise at IHOP.
