... at 12:45. We went through without any problems and our plane even left 35 min before which was a bit weird. In fact our names were called at the time we were only supposed to start embarking. In the Philippines Christmas starts in the first month ending with a "ber".... and not before long its apparent that everyone celebrates here, as i cross paths with a homeless person wearing a Santa hat.... I resisted any clever Christmas cheekiness , as i had the feeling this may well not be responded to in the good spirit it would have been delivered ;)

Big Bohol Tour ! Arise early and fumble around making a Viet style drip coffee in the tiny Tune bathroom. We've been asked to arrive at the tour reception by 7.30am, despite that we have pre-purchased our tickets and the boat doesn’t leave until 8.45am. I even get a text at 7.25 from our tour guide 'reminding' us to be there at 7.30.
I refuse to be rushed by the punctual insistence of some officious tour operator. We're ready to go as we please and we'll ...
