... ill but it was cheap and filled us up.

We went to a place called Montys bar where they had a live act on we thought it was going to be really cheesy but it turned out to be ok. Steve the man who was playing was really good and played lots of old classics man rock songs so Ian liked it and I enjoyed it to. We then stagered back to our room around midnight a little drunk again. Looks like we are fitting right in with this holiday.
Torremolinos, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands traceybelle... and laughing at the funnyness of where we are.

As we walked past the bars imagine how funny it was to see loads of english couples a little older all sat in a bar watching only fools and horses. I always thought people where kidding when they said they came on holiday like this but is so true. Each to there own is all I can say. Ian is struggling to adjust and keeps saying he wants some spanish food. Lol.
Torremolinos, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands traceybelle... is like an italian fritatta or french quiche, i learned how to make them when i was in madrid in 1990 and stayed in a budget hotel that sat over a tapas bar. the smells from the tapas restaurant drove me crazy so i popped in for a look. i remember seeing these huge yellow round things on a dish sitting on the counter and asked what they were. the owners were very nice and told me that is the spanish tortilla, they even invited me around the counter to learn how to make ...
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands cruiseone2003... the pool, cooking for ourselves, and watching MTV in German (South Park is hilarious, BTW) it was time for another adventure.
We ended up booking an actual group tour to Morocco for the day. We wanted to go check it out on our own, but it was actually cheaper to do it though the tour, so we got up at 5:45 in the morning on Thursday and got on the bus to Tarifa, where we would take the ferry over to Tangier.
Even though it´s only a 35 minute ferry ride, Tangier really is ...
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands debdeb80... I saw a bullfight my first week here and it really wasn't my cup of tea, but it was interesting to be where all the action takes place. I then proceeded to go exploring on my own, which I actually do quite frequently. I love people but I find I really enjoy some things better when I make my own experience not surrounded by what everyone else wants to do. I started by going down into the Ronda Gorge, which literally looks like a city built on a cliff. It is just ...
Ronda, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands aperiseeAfter breakfast and nice stroll on the beach, we head out to see the next city in the list which was Malaga. Malaga is very big compare to its size on the map :)
The trick is to head out to the old part of town to see the actions. Lots of architectures are dated back few years.
Cathedral as like the other places, is a must see in the old city. Small cobble stone alleys make it very nice and easy for walk.
The best ...
Malaga, Andalusia, Spain canadiansmiley... of my boys back home and how they drill each other with the football, perfect spiral and all. These boys have never learned how to really play so it makes sense that they aren't great at it. They are amazing at soccer though! We spent our last day in Marbella at the pool and the beach closest to our hotel. I was sad to leave. This last minute vacation turned out to be a blast! I love the French boys and don't want to see them leave!
Marbella, Spain justinerenee... mus. We found an awesome camping site where we got a great spot next to the beach taking in the view of Africa across the water. We were the only english speaking people though as the campsite was full of Germans wind surfers and those escaping the German winter. Day 296 - Thursday 21st December...Tarifa Lazy Day in Tarifa taking in the view of Africa. Day 297 - Friday 22nd December...Tarifa to Marbella Said goodbye to beautiful Tarifa and found our ...
Marbella, Spain gemway... classes in the morning, walk back home for lunch, and walk back to school for classes in the afternoon. Plus, we have to walk anywhere else that we want to go. The food is awesome. (i will admit, i was a little afraid that i wouldn´t like the food.) But it´s really good and not very "spanish". We had spaghetti the other day for lunch and we have pretty much "calientes" for dinner a lot. "Calientes" are pretty much grilled cheese sandwiches. Since we´ve only been here a couple days ...
