          ... the old 1048 Convention based License!!!!! Not being easily discouraged went to an JAF Office to have my current License Translated to fulfill their Requirements.....only took a half a day and 3000 Yen..... It's all relative and overall actually a great opportunity to learn more about Japanese ...

          After visiting Erika's relatives we crossed Kinko Bay by ferry and stayed in a traditional Ryokan in Ibusuki. For the uninitiated what this entails is sleeping on the floor and taking off your shoes before you enter the room. In this particular establishment there were only 2 showers down in the Onsen (Japanese baths). Each room had a toilet (I think) but none of the rooms had their own tub or shower.
