Last week we spent four days in Market Drayton and while there, met up with Larkin (an ex colleague of Bryan's) and Tony who we discovered live quite close to Chirk. So next time we pop into Wales we might meet up with them again. Market Drayton marks the northern extent of our travels this year.
For the last twelve days the weather has been really strange - lots of heavy cloud threatening rain but rarely any rainfall ...
... boat, eventually walking under the M6 toll road before we could cross the canal and return to the boat. There were some unusual iron devices, which we guessed were old coal chutes.
That evening Hugo came in with a mouse, and before we even had time to notice,
he picked it up again and took it outside. That brings the total to 8 this year plus a
rabbit. Whether he is catching them and not showing them to us we are not sure.
