... other mountain has to close usually by the middle of April because they are national forestry land. Just because these resorts closed does not mean the snow is beginning to melt. Actually it snows sometimes all the way into May, which leaves A Basin the only hill open and able to have a huge party on July 4th.

Beaver Creek is the farthest ski area that the Epic Pass has to offer from Frisco CO. It is a must do location though. It is well worth the 40 minute drive which is really a straight shot down I70
west. The mountain and village are one of a kind. It is definitely a high class village. A single day pass to the mountain can be upwards of $140 for a lift ticket.
