After a final week at Chuckleberry of chainsawing, wood splitting and bunkering the place down for winter it was finally time to start a new chapter in my journey. I felt very melancholy about leaving the farm. On the one hand I was really excited to get out to Colorado for some snowboarding, but I had grown really attached to ...

We crossed the Rockies over independence Pass with ...

On Digger's last day we drove up through the high country north of Jefferson up over Georgia Pass (11,585ft on the Continental Divide) in his 'Lincoln Navigator' hire car - he had to change from his BMW 740 after the sunroof exploded!!!!. Test fired a few weapons......
Very pristine environment above the tree line. Not a good place to be in the middle of winter.....
Beautiful views and the Aspen trees just beginning to change colour as winter approaches....
