The Winelands
... card at the ATM just before dinner. It was interesting, not at all scary, just annoying and frankly, rude. I called my bank immediately and changed my PIN, so I'm fine. That, and I could not partake in too much wine indulgence because the next morning it's me, the ocean and some sharks. No need to provide more chum than necessary.

Last Days of the Program
... of time. It also provided a great opportunity to spend some time on my own and reflect on everything I had learned and experienced thus far in South Africa and how much more was to come. Overall, it was a very humbling experience.

Cape Point's too expensive!
... car with "the family" and headed towards Cape Point. We took a lovely windy coastal road (which we had to pay a toll for). We stopped off at a supermarket to buy a picnic and then we headed to Simon's Town to see the penguins on the beach. As we arrived the heavens opened so we were typically British and had our lunch in the car in a car park! Once the rain stopped we wandered down towards the beach. Wine Madam? Don't mind if I do!
... so I invested in a bottle and a pack of cheeses to take away. Next stop was at a restaurant for lunch. I had a lovely chicken schnitzel and large glass of wine. Our 3rd winery was Dieu Donne where we got to try another 5 wines. At this point I was feeling wined out so only had a couple. The 4th and final stop was at Buschendal. Tables were already laid out with 5 different wines for us to taste. ...
Zaterdag, Zondag, Maandag
... te gaan. Desiree en Merel wilden ook graag mee dus die hebben we opgehaald samen met nog een vriendin van hen.
Onderweg bleek onze Hyundai Accent echt een Accident te zijn. Toen we bergopwaarts reden begon de auto te haperen totdat hij er gewoon mee stopte. Gelukkig wist Heidi hem veilig aan de zijkant van de weg te zetten en opnieuw te starten, maar na dat de auto dit na ongeveer weer een minuut deed wist ik het zeker, Inruilen die hap!
Na toch nog een veilige ...
