... designed to keep wrecked sailors from drowning in the huge waves of a storm on the low-lying breakwater. It was a beautiful sunny day for our cruise. The cruise was an optional extra and a few of our fellow travellers didn't go, but Stuart and myself really enjoyed cruising down the sound. Additionally, inside the room it was 3 rickety steps up from the bedroom to the bathroom. An adventure in the middle of the night. Miserable night.
