    ... in an old pub along the coast then the boat. This really is the best way to see the coast. Lots of great coastal landforms like arches and stacks as this coast gets pounded by storms. There had been a big storm in February that had taken a whole beach away for a few hundred metres. Nothing but cliffs there now. Also saw two massive caravan parks right on the cliff.     ... in America. Next drove along back roads to Stoke and Newton Ferris both places little villages tucked away amongst the hills. Continued on to the pretty town of Modbury, through Kingsbridge and the very small village of Buckland Tout Sands ( photo of yellow thatched cottage).     ... is mostly farmed with plenty of villages inside it. Quite different to NP in NZ or Australia. Drove along some lovely narrow, but picturesque roads with high hedges on either side, and through some small villages. Climbed steadily to the high land that Dartmoor is known for. First stop was Princetown where the Dartmoor Prison is.
