    ... bus kept itself off our sh*tlist by leaving only ~10 minutes after we arrived at the station and by departing on time for our return trip. There was a well-groomed ~25 y/o guy on the row in front of us by himself in the aisle seat. The bus fills very quickly and he doesn't move over and people are standing in the aisle.     ... a 10 minute walk uphill from Fira. This was combat ambulation along pedestrian paths lined with shops and restaurants, filled with a seemingly endless throng of visitors.

    We found a couple of bars and
    eateries that I did not know existed this morning when we went for a walk
    around the ship (or part of it) The Emerald Princess really is a huge vessel.

    We saw a good show in the Princess
    Theatre tonight, went and played Trivia, and then called it a night. A busy day

The old port is too small for ferries, but with a depth of about 400 metres the many, many cruise ships dock there and transport their guests back and forth from the ship to the island in continuous trips in small little boats - (takes up to three hours to get everyone off the big boats!).
