Woke up today to the overwhelming humidity in our tent. I got up and meandered about for the morning doing laundry, showering and lazing by the pool. Once I got all my errands out of the way. Headed down to the beach, the heat was already unbelievably harsh. Needless to say I didn't spend a lot of time on the beach but instead was frolicking around in the water. ... on our 5 hour trip :/ the whole arvo was a blur until we arrived at our campsite in Panama City beach. It was pretty hot and humid when we arrived so setting up camp wasn't exactly ideal, sweat dripping everywhere. Once the tents were up I was on cooking duty so we got to it. ... we head for Civitavecchia to board cruise ship. We will probably take an open air bus to get a flavor of the city tomorrow and plan our excursions from there based off what we see. Friday AM we have a private tour in the Vatican and St Peter's Basilica, et al. Should be fun!
