Great views across Haad Salad Bay, large room and bathroom, lovely bigwindows so as you wake up the view is spectacular and great balcony with hammok. Food is good and reasonable price and resort is quiet with some cheap food outlets and beach bars.

... arrived to relative calm at Koh Phangan, after the craziness of Koh Tao. We had learned from David and Karin, our Swedish friends, that the taxi was 300 baht per person, for a one way ride. That works out to be a 60 dollar cab ride and not much of an adventure. So, Paul decided to rent a jeep. He pulled up to us in an old jeep/pickup truck named Big Boss. With a tourist map and almost nonexistent wifi, we set out on our journey. My map had no ...
... it back on. I would like to say I made it look as easy as rob but failed epically but still completed it in one with a little assistance. During the second dive we saw a trigger fish who was getting a bit antsy so we moved away, as well as a whole shoal of barracudas and other insane fish and coral. Drinks at Mountain Reef (world's unfriendliest people, evil stares galore) but upbeat poppy pop Thai dance vibe scares us off. Dinner upstairs in Poseidon was ok, good vibes.
We rise at 7 for early snorking. No one around on the beach (literally) and only one other snorker. The water is calm and visibility very high. Large schools of fish floating through the blue. We should do this everyday!

... I went with her to grab some lunch whilst Laura headed back to the hostel. The afternon was non eventful, I had a nap and then ventured in search of water and wifi... I found both at cafe del sol (becoming regulars) where we later met carol and nick for a few drinks and to say see you back in guernsey. After a rather wonderful massage (coconut oil) we headed back to the hostel for some shut eye, ready to travel ...
... water with ease which called for a big night out on Koh Tao. Tim was instrumental in this as us boys had booked up on an advanced open water course early the next day and with out his help we would of never made it. With his help and the fact that he himself hadn't had a night out in an age we managed to put our course back a day and still dive with Tim. This involved a slightly drunk talk about or south east Asia schedule and Tim breaking into the office to change the next ...
