... Renaissance style building that looks more like a Medici Palazzo than a City Hall. Clothed elegantly in Italian marble, the city hall was completed in 1906, following Queen Victoria granting Belfast official City Status in 1888. The building can only be explored by tour, which lasts 45 minutes and is well worth it. The inside of the building is quite stunning, and features tons of beautiful stain glassed windows, marble staircases and dazzling chandeliers.
Up for breakfast with two other couples from France. Owner had renovated and added breakfast room recently, with one large family style table. Unfortunately they had designed the room too narrow so when everyone was seated there was no room in or out behind the chairs on either side.
