We are nearing the end of our European adventure as tonight is our last night in Ireland. Tomorrow we will be up early to drive back to Dublin for our flight back to Stockholm. I'm looking forward to relaxing back at Dane's place for a couple of days before I have to head back home to Oz.
Finally on the road. Nice tour bus accommodates our group of 32. Lot bigger group than I thought it was going to be. Paddy says this is the biggest group so far. Seats on bus are more comfortable than the airplane. Looking around I see a lot of people dozing. Beautiful country side. Lots of open space. Looks like they just finished harvesting the barley or wheat fields freshly mowed and lots of trucks hauling this on the road. We stop at service area about 45 minutes along ...

... distance so i left her in the care of the museum and went tracking on what felt like a pilgrimage (well it is ramadan). it felt like i walk 500miles and then i walked 500 more just to see the girl....... sorry wrong country. Well lets say it was a long walk but well worth it to grasp the scale of that big **** girl she would have been a sight. I happily walked and climbed down the 4 flights of stairs to get down to the bottom of the dry dock, ...
... Our first stop was at Carrickfergus Castle for a quick photo and then it was on the bus again to Carrick-a-rede island. Now this is where the fun began...and the weather went from bad to worse. We bought tickets to climb across a 20m rope bridge...that is 30m above the sea. It was a little daunting anyway but the rain and wind didn't help...neither did our rain proof coats, they proved pretty much useless up against Norther Ireland's summer weather!
