... rocks to a nearby lighthouse. Given the weather, that was a dangerous thing to do. One of the women slipped on the rocks and fell, landing up to her waist in the extremely cold ocean. She injured her shoulder in the fall and was extremely shaken by the experience.

... Stephen, Jenny, and Samantha came by for a drink and a chat. Heather and Trevor weren't feeling great so they headed home after a few drinks leaving me to the mercy of my Belfast comrades. ... Renaissance style building that looks more like a Medici Palazzo than a City Hall. Clothed elegantly in Italian marble, the city hall was completed in 1906, following Queen Victoria granting Belfast official City Status in 1888. The building can only be explored by tour, which lasts 45 minutes and is well worth it. The inside of the building is quite stunning, and features tons of beautiful stain glassed windows, marble staircases and dazzling chandeliers.

Up for breakfast with two other couples from France. Owner had renovated and added breakfast room recently, with one large family style table. Unfortunately they had designed the room too narrow so when everyone was seated there was no room in or out behind the chairs on either side. We had a nice conversation with one of the women who spoke broken English. Her son had moved to Montreal and married his girlfriend in order to stay in the country, ...
