    Yes, we struggled with a bad pun headline for this entry, but thanks must go to Kurt Russell, and his 1986 film, for eventually providing us with inspiration. We had been working on something referencing a 1975 Barry White song, “You See The Truffle With Me”, but couldn’t work the place name in. Still, we got there in the end, thanks Kurt.

    Our first morning in Florence began with a stop at a pasticceria on the way to the Uffizi. There the family looked at art from such greats as Michelangelo and Botticelli while Christine sat on a bench outside.
