... We returned to Palma port at around 1600 and headed straight for some frozen yoghurt at this lovely local place (luckily near my new hotel!). After settling into the new hotel (which is also very nice), Kamal arrived at 2100 and we had a small dinner at a small place which was a bit less touristy - making a new barman friend (the best kind!) and sampling a few of his favourite cocktails. A really lovely day - but - ¡Dios mio! - I'm really looking forward to a lie in on ...

So today was a funny one. I was still so tired this morning and was 5 minutes late for class - not a problem really but it knocked me for 6 and it was difficult to gain confidence throughout the rest of the lesson. ... who have all been here a while. They seem to have their own group but some were more sociable than others! Most of them go home this week though so no real allies to gain. The flamenco was very impressive - not at all cheesy which is what I had feared. Lots of clapping and stamping and swooshing - but very cool. Didn't quite manage my early night though so feeling quite ...

... we went to a lovely and very popular tapas place (La Boveda) which James introduced to me last year. After dinner caipirinhas (of course!) at Idem - a very cool small bar, which sadly was very hot and a bit quiet... To be tried again at a weekend! Monica did very well speaking English all night and there weren't too many awkward silences to contend with! Our mission tomorrow is to try to encourage more people from the course to be ...
