      Had a lovely evening in the center of Madrid viewing all the Christmas lights. In Plaza Mayor there is a fantastic Nativity scene all hand made. This was followed by a nice meal and a few Vinos in a restaurant called Venta el Buscon. It specializes in huge steaks, too much for us so we had the prawns. Woke up to a sunny but cold Madrid.       Oh, this was all after parking the car. Nat did the typical me, swerving everywhere while halfheartedly choosing a spot then changing her mind, finally we found one and came to a stop. Literally. We hit the wall with the front of the car, really hard. Thankfully we had passed a cop just before getting to the centre so Nat told the girls to put their seatbelts on.

      ... She thought it was really funny. Once class ended a few people and I went to La Reina Sofia to see the Dahli exhibit for free. We waited in a huge line, but it w worth it! I saw the painting Memory of Time. ¡Qué bonita! His painting were a little strange but are defiantly worth seeing.

      Tomorrow we are going to a Flamenco dance. I can't wait!

      ... explains those designer windows that say "London, Paris, Rome, Madrid". I loved it when I saw some that included Chicago in the list. Call me sentimental. Or just sentient.

      So many cultural questions... Why are there so many couples where the woman is taller than the man?? Why aren't these people cold when it's 40 degrees and they only have a t-shirt and an open jacket? Who paid ...
