I wasn't supposed to go to Taiyuan but from Wutaishan it was easiest reached and I spent two nights there in a hotelroom that had a lot of bugs.... The city was ok and I met some very nice people at the city square and on my way to the pagoda park. The park itself looked deserted, there were only two other people there. But it was well kept and it was very quiet with a great view over the city.
