Arrived in Hamburg and found that our hotel was literally across the road from the station. So what can I say about Hamburg ......................

... Polizeistaat in Deutschland. On my last day I decided to take it easy before I head over to Berlin on Wednesday morning. The only place left that I wanted to visit was the inside of the Rathaus. They provide a tour of a few of the rooms. The Rathaus is probably one of the few buildings in Hamburg that survived the bombings during the war. Hotel was right across the road from the main train station. Very clean and rooms were great. It wouldn't hurt the staff to smile but other than that a convenient and comfortable stay
