Later we went out to a nice Italian restaurant for dinner. Had an early night to bed as we were still ...

Berthed the boat only to be told that we could not stay in that particular spot, only problem was that we could not start the motor to shift and with the on-site ...

We set off at 7.45 after a cup of tea! It was cooler this morning and just nice.

Our first lock was strange. There was a huge weir on the left and we could see the lock gates on the right BUT it had two green buoys more or less across the entrance PLUS there was a "no entry" sign AND a “go to the right arrow”. We were so intent on working it out we forgot to take a photo. There were no lights to help us either. ...
