      ... I can see how the population swells to 4 million over the summer months. Up through the pine and cypress forests and past some of the few remaining ancient remnants- we saw the columns from the Temple of Apollo. Continued on to Mt. Philerimos whose plateau is 1000feet above sea level. Stunning, uninterrupted views along the coastline.       So it's three days until I leave home for Athens, 7 days until I leave Athens for Bristol, and 13days 21 hours and 57minutes until I leave England for Melbourne.

      Early the next morning I walked down the kali strata to meet my ferry to rhodes. The early morning light was beautiful and I took my time taking photos and soaking in the view one last time.
