    ... and decided it wasn't really my thing so I enjoyed the sun on the beach while Martin stayed out there for the next couple hours having quite a few good runs and an equal amount of epic failures like yours truly. We had booked the board until 4pm and ended up returning it around 3:30 before grabbing some dinner and heading out of town. We stopped just outside of Byron Bay for the night.

    Last couple days of Australia coming up!

    ... really are a lot of high rise buildings. Had fish (snapper) and chips overlooking the water at Kirra Beach, just before Coolangatta. Lovely spot. So that was Surfers Paradise. What more to say? Nice life saver huts, great beaches . Oh and thought we heard gun fire , four shots this morning at 4.24am. On to Byron Bay ...

Flying to Cairns on Saturday morning to collect the ute, drive to Cardwell to Mandy & Raymonds & collect the trailer then off to Northern Territory - Peter & I are going to Mainoru, 250klms NE of Katherine on the road to Gove, to assist a husband & wife team with their 'buffalo safari ' lodge, should be interesting & a lot warmer than SE Qld at present.     We pack up Toby in the rain and head to Mullimbimby for the farmers market held every Friday. We indulge in some danish, pork dumplings and rockmelon. From there we head north through Tweed City (for supplies) and onto the Springbrook National Park for the night.

    Nearby is the Purlingbrook Falls - where you stand right at the top of the fall and look directly down. Totally impressive and one of the best falls we have ...

    This is my last token for my Gold VIP card usage after discounted on the Halloween& White Christmas (never match my schedule).

    Sea world is really an eye opener for me although its entrance is not as impressive as those of others theme park earlier but it does contain some gut in is body.
