    ... beside the sea side where huge waves crashed down on a beautiful, if not busy beach. I have to say I quite like Surfer's. It does exactly what it says on the tin and it is unapologetic. Melbourne tried to hard to be artsy and just came off as fake, whilst Cairns was so laid back that the buildings practically fell over. Here you find the perfect balance.     ... after all!). There are just a couple that actually live at the sanctuary (being flightless, after accidents with fishing equipment), and the rest just drop in for a meal. The eels can actually crawl up on land, and 'walk' to other streams and rivers that way. They are, apparently, quite edible - although we just took their word for it.

    ... meet an echidna, python and a barking owl, the presentation went for roughly an hour. When that finished we stood and watched the koalas jump around for an hour then went over and chilled at the park until 2.
