En ce 23 décembre nous nous concentrons surtout sur les dernières emplettes pour le Réveillon de demain. Y a pas à dire, C'est difficile de se croire à Noël quand il fait 15 degrés à l’extérieur. Ru-eens
... rack of lamb roasted with Provencale spices (dismantled into chops) and served over chanterelle mushrooms, roasted veggies, and scalloped potatoes. It was amazingly delicious, and filled the bill for a touch of Provencale cuisine after all that. Little D thoroughly enjoyed his birthday dinner of baguette, which he went to town on.

Sur le Pont d'Avignon
... bridge that formerly crossed the Rhone river (it has since mostly fallen down), with many legends and also ties to the economic and cultural growth of the region. Exhaustion and Rest

We were graciously welcomed by M and T2 at M's house in Martigues - a HUGE place compared to what I was expecting by European standards, with a tiled roof and a palm tree in front. After some Provence olives, cheese, and pate, we were definitely ready for bed.
